Engagement Session in San Francisco of Yen + Bobby

Yes, as strange as it may be, this is Yen and Bobby’s engagement session AFTER their San Jose, CA wedding that I shot earlier this year.   As some of you may recall, the January wedding was planned and executed pretty quickly.   So quickly in fact that we didn’t have enough time to schedule their engagement session before the new year.  I am still bummed that I am already booked for their July wedding but things have a funny way of working out.  Due to this unfortunate event, I was able to meet Gene Higa and his beautiful girlfriend Braja Mandala who are both amazing photographers.

Once things settled down for them, we setup a time to meet up in San Francisco and got their engagement session taken care of.  We had great time taking awesome San Francisco portraits at Union Square, Embarcadero and Mandarin Oriental Hotel.

These two are SO EASY to photograph!  Here are some of my and their favorite pix.

Enjoy!

UPDATE: Yen and Bobby hired Gene to be their photographer for their July wedding and I had a chance to do Gene and Braja’s stunning portrait session in San Francisco recently.
